Wekerle International University Admission Requirement

The following requirements are generally expected from international applicants seeking admission to higher education institutions in Hungary:

• Applicants must have successfully completed the required academic qualification relevant to the programme they are applying for.
• Bachelor's applicants must have completed secondary/high school education (12 years) and hold a recognised high school diploma with the relevant transcript.
• Master's applicants must hold a recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• PhD applicants generally need a Master's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Applicants must meet the English language requirements of the selected programme if the programme is taught in English. The exact level may vary by institution and programme.
• Applicants are generally required to submit academic certificates, transcripts, diploma/degree certificates, passport/ID and proof of language proficiency.
• Documents issued in languages other than English or Hungarian may need to be accompanied by an official translation.
• Some programmes may require additional documents such as a CV, Motivation Letter, academic references, entrance examination or interview.
• Previous qualifications may be assessed by the university to determine whether they meet the programme's admission requirements.
• Entry requirements and application deadlines can vary by university and programme, so applicants should always check the specific requirements before applying.

Please Note:
Meeting the general entry requirements does not guarantee admission. Each application is assessed according to the individual university and programme requirements.
