Scholarship
Full-time Durham College students enrolled in 2- and 3-year Ontario College Diploma programs are eligible for the in-course scholarship program, which is awarded based on their grades from the previous academic year. To qualify, students must be returning as full-time students to the same program for their second or third year.
This scholarship is highly competitive, with only two recipients per program. The top-ranking student receives $1,000, while the second-place student is awarded $500.Successful recipients are notified via their DCMail by the end of March each year. No application is required.
Global Entrance Scholarship
Accept your offer of admission as soon as possible and receive a $2,000 Global Entrance Scholarship!
Students applying for a Durham College Bachelor program may also be eligible for the first-year Degree Entrance Award, valued at between $500 to $3,000.

| How much will I receive for my entrance scholarship? |
When you enroll in a new program at Durham College, you will be awarded an entrance scholarship. The scholarship value will depend on the duration of your studies.
*Students applying for a Durham College Bachelor program may also be eligible for the first-year , valued at between $500 to $3,000. |
| Am I eligible? |
International applicants inside or outside of Canada who apply to a full-time program at Durham College and pay international fees are eligible. * Students beginning a new program after completing their first program at Durham College are eligible as well. *This also includes international applicants who are refugee claimants. |
| How do I apply? |
You automatically qualify for the global entrance scholarship if you accept your offer of admission to a full-time program at Durham College. |
| How much will I receive for my entrance scholarship? | $2000 of the entrance scholarship will be credited directly to your student account when you accept your offer of admission. For students confirming for the May 2026, September 2026 or January 2027 intake in a two-year or longer program, you may qualify for an additional $1,000, which will be awarded in Year 2 (before Semester 4 tuition is due). There is no cash equivalent or alternative for this scholarship |

Degree Entrance Scholarship
All eligible applicants to a degree program with a combined minimum, non-weighted average of 75 percent and higher will be considered to receive a first-year entrance award:
- 75% average—$500
- 80% average—$1,500
- 85% average—$2,000
- 90% average—$3,000

Note: Any applicant who applies to a bachelor's degree is eligible for both scholarships, provided they meet the conditions above.
