Program Overview

The Pre-Studies Programme CLASSIC is a one-year preparatory program at the FHM. It is aimed at qualified international high school graduates who do not have direct access to a German university. 


The program provides PSP students with a solid academic foundation in the individual disciplines of engineering, business administration or medicine. Specialised German courses bring the language skills of PSP students up to an appropriate level. Qualified lecturers and excellent learning conditions prepare PSP students for studying at a German university. PSP graduates are eligible to take the Feststellungsprüfung (FSP) at the end of the program. The FSP certificate entitles them to apply for a direct place at a German university. If you have an ‘S-Verfahren’ (special admission procedure), the FSP qualifies you´to apply to a university in North Rhine-Westphalia.


T-course (for technical degree programs)

For students planning to pursue Engineering, IT, or technical degrees:

  • Language skills: German language for admission to a university
  • Professional knowledge: Mathematics, physics, chemistry
