Program Overview
This course enables entry onto the MSc Leadership and Management if you did not gain a first or second class honours at degree level (or equivalent). It will add to your existing skills and knowledge providing you with enhanced understanding and abilities which will prepare you for Masters courses.
The MSc Leadership and Management is a dynamic and contextually relevant course for those who wish to progress their careers and to develop as professionals. The course develops your knowledge, understanding and conceptual awareness, and additionally develops your skills. It is designed for those who are new to management roles, for those who are beginning to lead teams, functions and decision-making in their organisations, but also for those with limited pre-existing leadership or management experience, who wish to become leaders and managers in organisations.
The MSc Leadership and Management course provides opportunities to develop a blend of functional and operational perspectives for a range of managerial levels, roles and responsibilities across sectors, for applicants who may have limited managerial experience / management education. You will study perspectives on the concept of leadership and also learn about functional topics including marketing management, international human resource management, and finance for non-financial managers. You will also study strategic planning and learn how to lead transformation and change, which is of importance in the dynamic organisations of today and tomorrow. Your knowledge will be integrated and contextualized through a range of modules, culminating in a dissertation project.

Scholarships
International School Scholarships
These awards will be targeted at attracting students from key international schools globally, undertaking all three years of Undergraduate and to support the establishment of the University of Wolverhampton brand and to support diversification of the student population.
International School Scholarship Value: £1,000 per year – awarded automatically
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate programme at University of Wolverhampton for entry in academic year 2025/2026 by 31st July 2026, or A Level results day.
- Only applicants who have been assessed as overseas students for tuition fee purposes can access this scholarship.
- Awarded automatically for all 3 years of studies.
- Scholarships are not transferable and are only available for entry in academic year 2025/2026
- These scholarships are available only to students paying international fees
- Students receiving any of the International School Scholarship would also be eligible for the Lord Paul Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship
- Applicants will not be eligible for the scholarship if you defer your entry
- Applicants must be self-funding and not in receipt of a scholarship from an external source
- The Global Opportunities Office reserves the right to amend the list based on the partnerships/discussion with the International Schools
- Recipients are required to take part in out student ambassador and/or mentoring schemes, promoting the value of studying at the University of Wolverhampton
