Program Overview

As an international student, you might need, or benefit from, a pathway course before you start to a degree. A pathway course is often necessary because of different education systems of UK and your home country. The International Foundation Year offered by INTO Group, is perfect for international students who do not meet the academic requirements. It'll boost your academic and language skills, and improve your subject knowledge, to the level needed for entry to a degree at the University of East Anglia.

International Foundation in Life Sciences, Health Sciences and Pharmacy is a three-term program offered by INTO Group. Prepare for entry to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree in pharmacy, health or life sciences at the University of East Anglia (UEA). You’ll participate in interactive, discussion-based classes and complete a research project to develop a strong understanding of issues in healthcare and life sciences.

Leading to:- Master of Science in Geography with a Year Abroad

In our ever-changing world, we need skilled MSci Geography graduates who can understand and provide solutions to critical global issues like climate change, pollution, biodiversity loss, and volcanic hazards.

At UEA, you’ll learn from world-leading researchers and develop specialist analysis skills on this exciting and dynamic course. You’ll take part in field trips to diverse locations such as Devon, the Lake District, Scotland, and Greece. On this course, you’ll also have the chance to broaden your studies by spending a year studying at one of our partner institutions in Europe, US, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. Here at UEA, you’ll study in our purpose-built laboratories, master geographical information systems (GIS) software, and most importantly, graduate with the skills to make a meaningful impact.

This degree is highly flexible, offering you a broad choice of topics across physical and human geography. Specialisms include climate science, environmental policy, Earth resources, river catchment management, urban geography, biodiversity conservation, energy systems, and environmental economics.

You’ll graduate with highly valued transferable skills, ranging from data analysis and fieldwork to spatial visualisation, science communication, and social theories of change. Your ability to work across both the physical and social sciences is highly sought after in private and public sector jobs, where you'll be able to provide real-world solutions to today's challenges. If you wish to continue your studies with the possibility of pursuing a PhD, this advanced four-year integrated Master's degree is also ideal.

Check out Jessica’s story, who is now working as a Planner, having graduated with a BSc in Geography from UEA.
