The Master of Management is designed for students wanting to advance their scholarly research and master their strategic management capabilities. On completion you will be prepared to take on a leadership position in a relevant management context. You explore the different aspects that make up a leadership role, including communications, finance, strategic planning, human resources, governance and marketing – taught by a team of highly respected and internationally qualified tutors.

By mixing advanced theoretical study with highly applied, work-based learning, you engage in rigorous intellectual analysis and learn to apply new skills and techniques to existing or emerging issues in the workplace.

    Academic Requirement

    • Minimum Level of Education Required to be accepted into this program, applicants must have one of the following criteria:
      • An Undergraduate Degree with at least a New Zealand B- average at Level 7; AND
      • At least one year practical or professional experience with at least two written references, OR
      • Bachelor Honours Degree with a New Zealand B average at Level 7, OR
      • A Postgraduate Diploma (120 credits at Level 8), OR
      • Special entry - Applicants who do not meet the academic requirements may be given special admission if they can provide evidence that they are capable of achieving the programme outcomes.
