Program Overview

This program trains students to offer personal care and home management services to clients in community or institutional settings. Personal support workers provide services to clients with physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioural challenges. Learn hands-on in the classroom, on community placements and in the home environment simulation lab equipped with high-end fidelity audio/visual equipment and interactive mannequins. PSWs are highly sought after as health care providers, working collaboratively as part of the health care team or in a supported independent living environment.

Canadore College Entrance Award – India

Canadore College offers an Entrance Award of CAD 2,500 to eligible students from India as a financial support initiative for international learners.

  • Total Award Amount: CAD 2,500
  • Disbursement:
    • CAD 1,250 applied in Semester 1
    • CAD 1,250 applied in Semester 2
How the Award is Applied
  • Students are required to pay the full tuition fee as per the offer letter.
  • Once the student registers and begins classes at Canadore College, the Entrance Award is automatically credited to the student’s account.
  • The award is not provided as upfront tuition reduction and is applied after successful registration.
Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Canadore College Entrance Award, students must:

  • Be a citizen of India
  • Apply and receive an offer of admission to an eligible program at Canadore College
  • Be enrolling as a new international student
  • Successfully register and commence studies at Canadore College
  • Maintain full-time enrollment status
